Bayford Group becomes major shareholder of Jumptech

The Bayford Group, based at Bowcliffe Hall, Bramham, has announced a seven figure investment into Jumptech becoming a major shareholder. This continues the evolution of the Group and the development of further investments into energy transition to Net Zero and links strongly with Bayford investments in EV infrastructure and mobility.

Jumptech is an EV Charger installation platform, digitally helping to facilitate EV installations and speed up the process to make it better and easier for the consumer. In turn, they aim to improve and increase the adoption of green, clean technologies and vehicles.

In 2020, the Bayford Group completed the acquisition of E Gas and Power based in Birmingham, a business supplying prepay gas and power to over 340,000 meter points. 2021 saw increasing investment into RAW Charging, together with the acquisition of a majority stake in Fulcrum Plc.

Jonathan Turner, Chief Executive of Bayford has also joined the Jumptech board.

Speaking of the investment Jonathan said: “We continue to be at the forefront of energy transition with all the environmental benefits and this is our first investment into a software business. The drive to NetZero has become ever more important given the current political situation. It’s a great time to be entrepreneurial as the energy revolution gathers even greater momentum. In Jumptech we found like-minded entrepreneurs who are passionate about mobility and the EV revolution’’
